The Golden Creek Pack Thread

I thought of putting this on the website seeing as our WQ thread has been locked. I thought maybe this wayus as a pack may still be able to communicate better when we are not all on at the same time.

-Guests can post here (idea being that peeps from WQ can follow the link and still apply to join) However this means this thread MUST be moderated at all times just incase someone posts something that breaks the rules I set in another topic-

The Golden Creek Pack is a place where community members can come together to have fun in a safe environment. We accept community members of all ages, and expect them to be mature and appropriate; as WolfQuest does have young players. The pack focuses on organism, creativity, and freedom. We come up with our own unique, fun ideas for members to participate in, and try to keep things organized as to keep things rolling. ⇨ [size=85]CHOCOLATE DAY - July 6th, 2010
This special day shall be devoted to chocolate. Members shall get a special signature that they can 'wear' (this is optional, members can just mention the holiday in their signatures with their own style if they wish) And may get a special avatar to wear. The pack shall also hold a little trivia with questions about chocolate; the winner shall recieve a prize.[/size]

⇨ [size=85]GUMMI WORM DAY - July 15th, 2010
Gummi Worm Day shall be a day to celebrate those little gummi that we've come to love. An event shall happen in roleplay (which shall be a surprise until the 15th) and the most active member of the day shall get a prize. (winner gets to choose their prize)[/size]

⇨ [size=85]RAIN WEEK - July 29-31, 2010
Rain week starts on the 29th and goes through to the 31st. Though this is not a full week we shall still consider it one. The pack shall have a flood come through in roleplay (on the website, don't roleplay here!) As well as have an avatar they can wear.

The official point system for the Golden Creek Pack is based off of some highly valued/naturally found gem stones; gold, silver, and amethyst. Council members cannot earn Silver Flints/Gold Pieces/Amethyst Crystals; only Subordinate Wolves can. Members earn Silver Flints, though they can trade them in for Amethyst Crystals after they recieve 10 Silver Flints. Members must save up their Silver Flints to get the different prizes. Once they use them, they get subtracted from their existing amount of Amethyst Crystals. Gold Pieces can be used to get more "expensive" prizes. Or ones that take more time and effort to make/come up with. They, as well, once used get taken away.

- Gold Piece Prizes -
1 gold piece = Avatar of Your Wolf
2 gold pieces = Avatar of Your Choice [can be anything, must be appropriate]
3 gold pieces = Full Body Reference of Your Wolf
5 gold pieces = Become a GCC member

- Amethyst Crystal Prizes -
1 amethyst crystal = Nickname
2 amethyst crystals = Signature
7 amethyst crystals = 1 Gold Piece

Paw Scout // [size=70]These members have been around for around a week. They are getting to know the pack well and are being active as well as helpful.[/size]

Trail Blazer // [size=70]The member has been around for around a month and has been active, as well as taking part in pack activities.[/size]

Night Archer // [size=70]The member has been around for several months and now become a Black Ninja, aquiring awesome skills of experience and knowledge.[/size]

Black Ninja // [size=70]The member has been around for several months to a year and is really helpful aroud the pack website and/or topic.[/size]

Elite // [size=70]Most returning members shall get into the committee automatically, as they have been with us for quite some time. Though they must stay active and helpful.[/size]

• GCC members must be active to be able to stay in the committee.
• If a GCC member abuses their rights they shall be sent down to their original rank.

The GCC is made of the dominant wolves of the pack. Once a member enters the GCC they become an elite member from their original rank. Committee members don’t receive Silver Flints or Gold Pieces.

Subordinate wolves make up the majority of the pack. They participate in contests, activities, pack holidays etc. Subordinate Wolves are eligible to become PMotM [Pack Member of the Month] and they can receive silver flints as well as trade them in for gold pieces.

• The Golden Creek Pack now has it's own 'press'. It shall be posted about every other week or so. The press shall feature several sections. The Elite Press Post, Pack Editorial and the Ninja Center. Each different section consists of different material covering the pack.

The GCPress editor job is open. The member who does claim this job will need to be able to "organize" everything and check it over before publishing. Once they review everything and give it a "thumbs-up" the editor may post the GCPress issue.

• The Elite Press Post contains all the formal annoucements such as contests, big projects etc. The Elite Press Post also includes the pack's monthly newsletter. The Elite Press Post shall have a few members working on it, though who and what they shall be doing is still undecided.

• The Pack Editorial is a place which is open for members to submit their ideas, stories etc. Pretty much anything goes, though members MUST keep in mind the younger players of WolfQuest when making an article. It must be appropriate and story chapters may be no more than 1,000 words long. There are no raly jobs for this section. Once you finish your article PM it to the Press Editor.

• The Ninja Center shall contain the more fun elements of the pack; such as upcoming events, pack holidays and roleplay events. There shall be two members in charge of writing/typing this up. Though I shall give them a heads up on the holidays etc so they can let their minds run loose.

This is a good idea, Paddie. Since it seems that the codes are still on there I shall try and make a new thread sorta post thing to put on here. When it's complete I'll edit it in..
